“Three Comrades” by Erich Maria Remarque is my favourite book because it is a book about life. More precisely, it describes everyday life in Germany between the two World Wars in very realistic terms. As we all know, these were some very difficult years for the German people but the book demonstrates how friendship and good relations between people can help overcome the ups and downs in life.
