Per Hedeman, President of the Danish Publishers Association, “caught” reading for the “Get Caught Reading” campaign
This book is the diary of Victor Klemperer who, despite being Jewish, managed to survive with his wife (who was not Jewish) in Germany during the whole World War Two period. He writes about seeing all their friends being sent to KZ camps or otherwise intimidated to death by the authorities, while he and his wife tried to keep a profile as low as possible, says Mr Per Hedeman, President of the Danish Publishers Association.
