Poetry is, and has always been, a great inspiration for me. Even during a very hectic period with a heavy workload, I always try to find time to lit a candle, listen to music and read a good novel or a poem at the end of the day. During the past two years, I have chosen to read french literature, in order to improve my rather poor french. I have discovered the great poetry by Paul Eluard and would like to enclose one of his outstanding poems:

Sur mes cahiers d’écolier
Sur mon pupitre et les arbres
Sur le sable sur la neige
J’écris ton nom.
Sur toutes les pages lues
Sur toutes les pages blanches
Pierre sang papier ou cendre

Bien au-dessus du silence
