The Danish, world famous author Karen Blixen (1885-1962) is one of my favorite authors and Gyldendal publishes all of her works. Her best known novel is Out of Africa from 1937. The book describes Blixen’s years in British East Africa (Kenya) where she owned a coffee plantation. Here I am reading a newly published book containing hundreds of letters from her time in Africa. The book is one out of four volumes which has followed me since the publication. Karen Blixen is a true storyteller, also in her letters.
